In 2011, Carol and her husband Joe moved to Lake Lure to be close to their children and grandchildren. They searched across the region and found their forever home in our lake community—a place whose beauty and character they cherish every day.

Carol brings a seasoned corporate and clinical background to town hall. As an Executive Vice President of Operations overseeing multi-million dollar budgets, and later as founder of Coulter Consulting and MBA adjunct faculty, she treats our tax dollars with precision, transparency, and discipline.
